Featured Seller: Intentional Glass!!!

Today's Featured Seller is a Very Unique and Fun find! I've been waiting for a while to share this cute shop with you...because if you are on the hunt for a unique gift...this is your place! Say Hello to Intentional Glass!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/IntentionalGlass
Isn't this Recycled Slump Wine Bottle Cheese Tray so cool? It's definitely a great conversational piece for parties and more!
Alrighty then...let's learn about this seller!
~"I am mom who likes to play with fire. I work in both lampwork (melting and manipulating the glass with a torch)and kiln formed (using the heat of the kiln to melt and form the glass) techniques. The glass is my muse. It is simple, complex, liquid, solid, functional, fragile, and beautiful.
~"Each time I make something, whether it is the first or the fiftieth it is a new experience. I carry pieces that are made new glass and pieces made from old glass bottles. Recycling old glass is an ancient practice. The bottles have a history and a bit of mystery.
~"My shop's name is Intentional Glass. I named it on purpose. Pursuing this business allows me to be creative in a productive way and it also allows me to be home with my infant son."

Featured Seller: Whysper Fairy!!!

Today's Featured Seller is another fun shop loaded with tons of goodies for all those of us whom have a knack to create!
Say Hello to Whysper Fairy!!!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/WhysperFairy
Don't you love this acorn? Not only are the items fantastic but as you can see so is the photography. If you buy anything from this shop you'll know exactly what you are getting!
I'm ready to learn a little more about the seller....how about you?
~"I am a 911 operator on the weekends and a crafter during the week. I use my crafting and passion for collecting beads and jewelry findings as stress relief. I enjoy every minute running my four Etsy shops! I usually work on my shops for about 5 hours a day – 4 days a week.
~"I am an avid garage sale addict! Anything that has potential to be ripped apart and redone into some other creation is what I look for. That and vintage jewelry is what I am after when I am perusing garage sales. I try to buy vintage pieces of jewelry cheaply to resell.
~"I love to create things. I like instant gratification so if a project takes longer than a couple of hours I get frustrated! I like to be able to make something, list it, blog about it all within a couple of hours or less. So I tend to choose what I make based on my lack of patience and focus!

~"I am inspired by Victorian things, beautiful pictures and jewelry, flowery items. Soaps, sachets, beads, jewelry, vintage and buttons are favorites of mine.

I have four shops:

Today's feature is another fun find, this shop has loads of fun and cute items. Say Hello to Jeanie Bean Handknits!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/JeanieBeanHandknits
Okay, this chunky scarf is so cute! Love the color and everything about it.

Let's learn a little more about this great Etsy Seller!
~"My name is Jeanie B. Jeanie Bean is a nickname from my childhood along with a few others I won’t mention! I’m a teacher, a married mother of 2 girls. I live in the suburbs in a beautiful area that is slowly being developed. There’s still plenty of conservation areas, bike paths and wooded areas to explore but we’re close enough to Chicago to visit.
~"I am an avid knitter. I learned the basics in high school and taught myself to knit the things I love – sweaters, mittens, hats and handbags. I’m still learning new techniques and shortcuts. I love a new challenge!

~"I was knitting for myself and friends. I continued to create more and more items and then tried a few arts and craft shows. I also sold some of my handbags in a local store. A store owner suggested I try Etsy. I began shopping on Etsy and I was hooked!

~"I love fashion. I love the colors and textures naturally found in this beautiful world of ours. I enjoy making people happy.

I’ve gained some new friends and so much support and validation for my craft here on Etsy."

Thanks again for sharing with us Jeanie....love your work and I know that several of us could find use for all the items in your cute shop!

Featured Seller: Debs 102 Handmade and Found!!!

Today's Seller is another cute and fun find for all ages! No doubt you can find gifts for just about anyone on your list. Say Hello to Debs102 Handmade and Found!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/debs102
This cute little kitty knit set is so cute, but then again so is everything else in this adorable shop!
Let's learn a little more about this great seller:
~"I’m Debs Harding and I live in Cardiff, South Wales in the UK with my new husband Stewart. We got married about 2 months ago in a gorgeous ceremony here in Cardiff surrounded by family and friends. I am a keen dressmaker, and spent months repairing a vintage 50’s prom dress to wear on my big day – looked great! I’m also a complete knit-a-holic; my spare room is filled with yarns of all types and colours which I’ll use up at some point!
~"I launched my shop in November 2009 and word has been slowly spreading ever since! I sell knitted accessories and home wear of all kinds. Some of my favourite pieces include my novelty tea cosies – including bumble bees and ladybugs, and my new collection of lighter weight knits for year-round wear.

~"My inspirations come from looking around the high street and in fashion magazines in the UK for the latest trends, and how I can create knitted accessories to match these trends – this is where the inspiration for my slouch beanies came from, after seeing similar styles in stores such as Topshop. For my home wear I tend to look in vintage and charity stores to see vintage style tea cosies, and try to update them for 2010. I’m working on a whole new range of tea cosies ready for the festive season, including a basket of flowers cosy! I love Ravelry, and am a member of the Etsy Knitters, Etsy Sellers, Etsy UK and Etsy Cymru (Wales) teams – so spend time chatting with members and helping with as well as receiving advice!

~"Times have been tough here in Wales – the recession has hit us particularly hard and job and money is very tight for everyone. Sometimes it can take a lot to keep motivated, especially knitting with warm yarns when it is hot and sunny outside! Over the summer when things tend to quieten down, I spend time promoting and spreading the word about my goods, through social media and my new blog, and working on new ideas for when things pick up. I also try and target people who are now in the winter in the southern hemisphere, and sell a lot of chunkier items “Down Under”!

~"I’m looking to take part in the up and coming Etsy “Christmas in July” Sale between the 15th and 25th July, and have been working really hard on my new blog, with over 60 followers in the first week of it being launched!"
