Isn't this security blanket adorable....and such a great idea (both of my kids have their security blankets....so I totally understand why a couple of these would be great!)

~"My name is Wendee and my Etsy Shop is Gurgle Turtle.

~"Actually, I like to think of Gurgle Turtle as my sidekick, or friend. He's really cute and makes a great mascot for my shop.In my etsy shop you will find mostly nursery decor.

~"I make baby blankets in two sizes, pillows, and wall art. I would like to expand my art a little bit, but I'm still working out the kinks.

~"Being a mother of four small children, I try to make things that I would be proud to put in my own children's room. Having said that, my children are a huge part of my inspiration. I have a son who is 6, twin girls at 4, and one more girl that's 2. They always give me positive feedback on my work: “Oh mommy, that's cute!” They make me smile.

~"When I think of what keeps me motivated, I think of my customers. I know my shop isn't huge and has had a small number of sales, but I have already had returning customers. They make me feel good, like I'm doing a good job. When I have custom orders, we throw ideas at each other until we have the perfect item, and then I make it. It's a lot of fun.
